About me
I was around 10 years old when I got my first camera. It was a plastic "Anny W20 Lomography" vintage camera (60's). It used a so called 120 roll film and the pictures came out rather blurred. But hey, who cared, I made my first shots and I carried it proudly with me on our family trips.
After that it took quit some years before the photography-fever finally got me. At the age of 22, I was a student, I travelled to Taiwan for a practical training period of 6 months. For this occasion, I bought my first SLR camera, a Nikon FM, with 3 lenses. This turned out to be the kick-off for many generations of camera's, various travels around the world and over 100.000 photo's.
Today I work with the mirrorless full frame Sony A7RIV and A7RV cameras and highly enjoy the high-resolution images and creative processing options the hardware and software offer.
Being retired I decided to build this website to provide a platform for selected photos from my travels and trips presented in various categories!
